{Earlier this week CWW Star Dan Maskell appeared on the British TV Show Alan Carr's Chatty Man to participate in a interview}

Carr: well today we have a special guest, on here to promote his upcoming Revolution Heavyweight Championship match against Jake Lyndon on May 21st, 'The Heretic' Dan Maskell, so first of all thanks for being on the show.

Dan: well Thanks for having me on the show.

Carr: so first off Dan, you have a big match coming up against your former mentor Jake Lyndon, is this something which has been on the cards for a long while?

Dan: you know what, I think it has ever since I started, yes he mentored me on this show and I won but there was always like some awkwardness there like as if he knew one day I was going to unseat his title reign.

Carr: if I am right you two even had a match whilst there and despite it being close he beat you?

Dan: yeah he did manage to beat me but since then I think it is about who has improved the most as I took him to the limit when I was a green rookie, now look at me I have got 100 times better where as he seems to have just thrown a new bit of paint over himself and claims to be renewed.

Carr: so I must ask there is genuine bad blood between you right this is not just you trying to build up the match?

Dan: no there is genuine hatred there, as if you look at my career in CWW there are times when I got so close to the big one and he took it away from me and well on the other hand I know he sees me as the biggest threat he has and will avoid me at all costs.

Carr: Dan, you briefly alluded to CDW the show which you was the first ever winner of, now that there is talk of it coming back are you going to make an appearance?

Dan: you know I have considered it, I mean I still have the title and what not framed in my house so who knows if I appear I may even take my title with me.

Carr: so do you have any advice for the rookies on the show?

Dan: yes I do and that is be as selfish as possible, take the moment the main thing about when I was in CDW was I was not meant to win, there was about 4 to 5 established names in it and while they were obsessing over the fact they were already known by the hardcore fans where as I worked my way up slowly and surely and stole the spotlight right from underneath them, so seriously if your in CDW right now and even if your ranked 1st, 2ND or 3rd don't be content with your spot because you won't be eliminated straight away instead be like Hang on why is he higher then me or well I am this high but what can I do to stay this high.

Carr: right now we got to ask you Dan , is there anyone in CWW you see as being breakout stars?

Dan: well first of all it goes with out saying people like myself, Hunter J and Diego Garza are all breaking out or have broke out, but then waiting in the wings are people like Omega who is by far one of the most improved superstars in CWW well since myself and then there is Angel Rodriguez, Craig Owens oh and of course Jordan Chase and Calvin Hobbs them two I have to watch as there is something compelling about them.

Carr: are there people in CWW you want to compete against but have not been able to?

Dan: yes there are a few names on the list to be honest there is Hardcore Demon and Harry Jones two of CWWs Legends and I want to see how I match up with them, also there is Angel Rodriguez and Omega, Mark Jones, Brett Carter and Craig Owens to name a few, and personally I would like to Face Surge again in the ring.

Carr: Now when people talk about you they mention that you are one of the more controversial guys in CWW, why is that?

Dan: it's because really this is me, I say what I want and I do not really care if it offends anyone you know, but as I have always said with people, you will always know where you stand with me where as others will go behind your back and what not I won't.

Carr: also it has been said you don't behave like a stereotypical pro Wrestler, why is that?

Dan: well allow me to explain it like this even since I was a kid I never bothered much about sleeping I was lucky to get 3 hours so I am conditioned to 3 hours of sleep, and also since I was a kid I smoked, I drank alcohol and I did mad stuff but at the same time I pride myself on never taking drugs so there is some good behaviour in me.

Carr: OK last question Dan, there is allot that has been said about your background and personal life can you explain?

Dan: right I will start off like this I was born in March in the year of 1985, I lived in a rough neighborhood where kids where in gangs stabbing people but I did not do that I abstained from it in fact most of the time I was walking around in my own little world as a kid, so my Family who were like big on Boxing and stuff cause it was a legacy got me doing it and I was pretty good and began to think I was the shit, and then one day I began to watch MMA I believe it was UFC 1, I saw and I was inspired by Royce Gracie so I started MMA and toward the end of the year I got to 18-0 in Boxing and 7-2 in MMA when I decided to have a big party during which I think someone slipped something in my drink and the next day I failed a drug test and because of how well known my family is it was all in papers and it was embarrassing so I got blacklisted from both sports but I carried on doing Jiu-Jitsu, anyways I got tied into Unlicensed fighting and was doing well when I accidentally dropped this dude on his head and nearly killed him, so I got arrested and put into Prison and while I was there I noticed how corrupt the system was when they had cons fighting each other after I won numerous fights I became the head honcho or top dog whatever people call it, and then I got released so on the day of my release no one came to pick me up and I just waled and carried on walking until I walked into a night club and saw a wrestling show promoted then and there and I got hooked so I went up to one of the wrestlers and asked him to train me which to his credit he did and I wrestled in that nightclub until I was signed by CWW and thats it really.

Carr: OK well thanks for coming on the show Dan it has been a pleasure.

Dan: no problem.
