Lara James Shoot Interview (CWW.com Exclusive)

 Earlier this week, the newly crowned CWW Vixens Champion sat down for an in depth shoot interview with Josh Matthews. Here is what happened.

Josh : Lara, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to take part in this interview.

Lara – It’s my pleasure man! Any time!

Josh : So, let’s start right at the very beginning, how did you get into wrestling?

Lara : Well, as everyone may or may not know, my upbringing wasn’t the best. Growing up was hard for me. I used to run the streets a lot, getting into all sorts of trouble. Some bad, some worse. Every day was a pretty big struggle, and sometimes, i used to get into situations where i had to fend for myself. I had to learn pretty quick how to protect myself, most of the time, from people who were bigger, stronger, meaner than myself. So i guess that is where i learnt how to become a brawler. Pretty soon i was actually beating the people who wanted to make my life hard, so they backed off and let me live my life. But to be honest, i actually liked the fighting. I like the rush of adrenaline i got when i won, and i wanted more of that, so it was only a natural progression for me to get into wrestling. I went to a local wrestling school, and it all started from there.

Josh – Since joining CWW, you have been involved in a lot of memorable moments. Can you tell us what stands out for you as your best moment in CWW so far?

Lara – Man! Where do i start! CWW has been my life and i wont lie, i have loved every second of my time here. But if i had to pick one moment that has stood out as the biggest of my career so far, it would have to be my induction into the CWW hall of fame. I mean, it cant get any bigger than that can it? Being inducted into the hall of fame and being catapulted to legend status? That is HUGE! But it also means i now have a lot to live up to and im ready to prove that i still have what it takes. But winning the Vixens Championship again, shows that i still have it right? And holding the title is always a great moment for me.

Josh – As you are currently the Vixens Champion, there are going to be a lot of women gunning for your title. Who would you say was your biggest competition?

Lara – Honestly, all of the women in the locker room are of such a high standard, that i think of them all as tough competition. I may not like some of them, but that dosent mean i can take away from their abilitys and high athleticism. So i have beaten them all at one point or another, but thats not to say that i will beat them the next time i face them. The womens roster is always changing and evolving to keep up with the times, and to keep proving to everyone that is women can get the job done just as well as the men. But at the moment, the main person i am keeping my eye on, is Kelly. She definitely has it out for me. She is unpredictable, which makes for a difficult opponent, but im ready for whatever she can bring to the table. 

Josh – Finally, how would you sum up your career in CWW and where do you see it going in the future?

Lara – Wow! Where do i start with that one! Well, i would have to describe it as a fast and furious rollercoaster ride full of ups and downs, with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, but one that i would ride all over again in a heartbeat. It truly has been the best times of my life, that even when im old and grey, i will still look back on and think “Yeah, i did alright!”. And as for the future, who knows where it will go. Nothing is ever a simple ride here in CWW, with different challenges right around the corner, so the future can never be forseen, but i hope it will be a long run, with me having this title for a long time, and a lot more times to come, and seeing this company evolve to become the greatest it has ever been, and i hope the fans will stay along for the ride with me!
