Omega Shoot Interview (CWW.com Exclusive)

Earlier this week, Omega (real name Jon) conducted a shoot interview with Justin Roberts. Here is the full interview:

Roberts: Ok, so being in the World Title picture so fast, did you expect it at all?

Jon: To tell the truth, no. But when I was approached and asked to win the #1 Contendership, I had to accept. A shot at the CWW Championship is big.

Roberts: And before your contendership, all you were doing was facing jobbers. Any thoughts on that?

Jon: I was told that the jobber thing was to give the fans a nasty shock. Maybe one of the biggest heels going from jobber by the beginning of the night to #1 Contender for the CWW Championship by the end was a nasty shock for the fans.

Roberts: Any thoughts on your career in CWW?

Jon: My career in CWW has been so much fun. I mean, when I came out for the #1 Contender match, the fans were so suprised, I was smiling on the inside. When I won, they were even more suprised. I was smiling even more on the inside. That championship match was the biggest in my career. And although I was told I was winning by DQ, I wasn't too upset. At least I'm able to say "I got to this point. I got to main event a Pay-Per-View!" And I'm proud of that.

Roberts: Your the fastest rising star in CWW history Jon. Hardcore Demon, Thorn, all those greats in the Hall of Fame, they started slower than you.

Jon: I'm proud of that accomplishment too. And if I were to say, I believe I'll be a Hall of Famer soon. I was approached one day, and this was before I was signed, and I was told that I had talent. Enough talent to make it big. They watched me for another couple of matches in the indys, and I made it big. I was signed to a contract with CWW, and since then, my life has changed forever.
