Revolution Results (5/25/2011)

Here are the results of the matches & some notes from this week's Revolution:

Matches:

- Kevin Evans defeated Craig Owens (Non-Title, Steel Cage, Road to the Throne 1st Round Match)

- Angel Rodriguez defeated Steven Rivers (Road to the Throne 1st Round Match)

- Hunter J defeated Harry Jones (Road to the Throne 1st Round Match)

- The Assassin defeated Kevin Irvine by Count-Out (Road to the Throne 1st Round Match)

- Surge defeated Matt Xtreme (Mask vs Career 3 Stages of Hell Match)

Notes:

- Dan Maskell opened Revolution this week & spoke about his beatdown on Jake Lyndon at Roulette & even said that Jake's career is over. Dan even reminded everyone that the Post-Match Stipulation was "Winner will become GM for a day" & Dan immediately used his temporary power to award himself with the Revolution Heavyweight Championship.

- The 1st stage in the main event was a No Holds Barred Submission Match, which was won by Surge. The 2nd stage was a Falls Count Anywhere Hardcore Match, which was won by Matt. The 3rd & final stage was a No Holds Barred Knockout Match, which Surge won.

- After his victory over Steven Rivers, Angel Rodriguez & 3 unknown Mexican wrestlers attacked Steven in the ring & left him lying.

- Kevin Irvine was brutally attacked & left bloodied by The Assassin moments before their match, hence why Kevin lost via count-out.

- After defeating Harry Jones with 3 consecutive HJO's, Hunter J tried to show Harry Jones some respect after the match, but he received a huge kick below the belt for his efforts.

- Craig Owens had originally won the opening contest, but the referees were knocked out. Hayden Jaggerz, Kevin Evans' tag team partner, knocked Craig out cold with a steel chair to the skull & rolled him back into the cage, enabling Kevin to steal the win.
